Fen (they/them) is a book midwife, a visionary, and a lifelong storyteller. They are the author of several books, including Messages From The Land, and Morning After the Road Trip. 

Fen’s background includes a degree in literature and grad studies in classics (Greek and Latin). They launched their freelance writing career in 2001. In the course of their career, they helped pioneer content marketing before it was called “content marketing,” built content production teams for large companies like Autodesk, and headed up marketing, sales, and storytelling efforts at several small and mid-sized companies.

After a brief stint as a ghostwriter, Fen realized that their calling lay in helping others to claim their own voice and write their own books. Fen is a visionary who sees what a narrative needs in order to meet its full potential. Fen is a trained light and shadow worker who understands how stories work at conscious and unconscious levels, and how to help authors unlock their own potential.

Fen lives in Asheville, North Carolina with two of their three children, a dog named Ace, two cats and way more aquarium fish than they originally planned on (fish math). They commune with trees and study ancient spiritual paths. They are a skilled healer in a variety of non-traditional energetic modalities that they also use to help authors clear blocks and stay in flow.
